The name “Fábrica do Chocolate” translates literally as “Chocolate Factory” and it’s a museum with interactive projections, Kids Games, Motion Graphics along with sound effects and locutions. The main attraction is a 4D Immersive Room, in which the visitor can experience a 3D animation that tells the story of the journey of Hernan Cortes, the Spanish navigator who first acknowledge chocolate for the Europeans. The visitor not only can see a movie in 3D, but also feel heat, wind and massive surrounding sound.
Throughout the visit, we resorted to ultrasounds that trigger specific contents about the chocolate manufacturing, until it arrives to the factory, and also its chronologic history in Europe.
This space benefits from our Onecore technology, that allows a more centralised control of the equipment. Through an intelligent behaviour analysis software for each hardware device installed, this museum/space profits from an automated and easy management of its daily operation.
