THE CONCEPT

Oliva is a historic brand, considered one of the flagship brands of São João Madeira, a city in Northeastern Portugal.
Since 2012, this legendary factory has become an interactive center and a venue for art projects and cultural exhibitions.

ARTWORK COMES ALIVE

The permanent area of the museum has an interactive area and installations where visitors can learn about the region’s industry in a fun way. Kids and families can interact with cartoon characters, play quizzes and other 2D games. The region has a strong tradition in footwear manufacturing. They can also learn how to create a pair of shoes from scratch. The goal of the exhibition is to create interest and enthusiasm about the famous industry of São João da Madeira.

This venue benefits from our Onecore technology, that allows a more centralized control of the equipment. Through an intelligent behavior analysis software for each hardware device installed, this museum/space profits from an automated and easy management of its daily operation.
