THE CONCEPT

Promoted by Matosinhos City Council and MatosinhosHabit, MANIFESTHABITAÇÃO was born out of a joint desire to mark the 30th anniversary of the implementation of the PER – Special Rehousing Programme and the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April and the Right to Housing enshrined in the 1976 Portuguese Constitution.

ARTWORK COMES ALIVE

The exhibition consists of six modules with themes such as the “Right to Housing in Matosinhos”, “Building a Neighborhood is building a City” and “Local Housing Strategy: 2020-2030”. Also noteworthy is the “Bonds, Lives, Emancipation, Achievements and Community” gallery with ten real portraits of protagonists who generously share stories and memories, expectations and hopes.
