GEMA has played a pivotal role in shaping the exhibition at the “Museu Mineiro” in São Pedro da Cova, situated in northern Portugal. Leveraging an array of creative technologies and interactive installations, our collaboration brings to life the profound legacy of mining in this region.

ARTWORK COMES ALIVE

Immerse yourself in the daily routines of miners through a holographic presentation, witness the challenges and conditions within the mine via a looped animation, and gain insight into the intricate operations on the mine trestle through a captivating projection. Delve even further into history with our interactive touch screen, allowing you to explore the mine's narrative and access information about miners through various search criteria, including name, nickname, date of birth, place of birth, and profession.
