And yes, we did it!

THE CONCEPT

The museum tells the story of the Portuguese navigators who brought knowledge of the lands beyond the seas applying the most advanced technologies of that age to navigation. Brazil, North of Africa, Cape of Good Hope, Angola, Mozambique, China, and India are some of the areas that can be visited throughout a canal boat tour. GEMA dealt with the Design, Content, Development, and Hardware solutions for this exhibition.

ARTWORK COMES ALIVE

The museum counts with several theme areas that includes our projects and solutions. A welcome projection from Henry the Navigator; Interactive Globes that show the known world over the ages; Touch Screens with information about Navigators; Ships or Culture are just some of the attractions this venue has to offer WoD has an immersive tunnel with projections on the walls and beacons throughout its length, triggering contents about the arrival to the Cape of Good Hope. We resorted to “fog screens” to create a darker environment, storm sounds, cold temperatures, and the scent of seas, to make this experience even more involving and amazing.

This venue benefits from our Onecore technology, that allows more centralized control of the equipment. Through an intelligent behavior analysis software for each hardware device installed, this museum/space profits from an automated and easy management of its daily operation.
